In the attempt of Famitsu to get Nintendo to confirm if the new Nintendo DS model that was announced in Nikkei Article is legitimate, Nintendo has this say:

“No comment since we haven’t made an official announcement yet. We’re always trying to improve our products”

Well what a safe answer for Nintendo. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the exclusive Nintendo Press event this week.
