In Buzz! Quiz TV, the game plays like a real show. There are five categories that you can choose from; Sports, Lifestyle, Music, Movies/ TV, and Science & Technology. Each of them has 5,000 random questions that will be asked and you’ll be surprised on how the questions apply to our generation right now. In each category, there are 4 sub-categories that you can pick in every round. Let’s take Movies & TV as an example; in that category, there will be sub-categories available such as TV Hits, Blockbusters, Toons, and Movies.

If you are playing with a lot of people, you’ll have to compete with one another to get the highest score possible. You’ll be throwing pies at them and making fun of them as you go along with the game. There are preset characters that you can choose from and costumes that you pick from to add some fun to the game. Aside from that, you’ll be able to hear their reactions and emotions as you play along in the game.

Up to eight players can join the game offline and online. However, you might need an extra 4 buzzers if you want to play with 8 people. One of the neat things in the game is the Sofa vs. Sofa mode where you have to compete with other people online and get the bragging rights of your Sofa. The faster you answer the question, the more points you get. If you score high enough, you’ll be so proud that you can see your PSN name on the leaderboards.

Synchronizing the game with the Playstation Network truly enhances the game due to the ability to interact with another PSN user. If you think you are a Quiz Master and you want to challenge your friends through the self-created quiz questions, you can do so by creating it either on the game or through the Official My Buzz website.

As far as how much updating we’ll see in this game in the Playstation Store, Sony has guaranteed that gamers who bought this game will be treated well as they release Quiz Packs that they can purchase every now and then. Who knows, maybe the quiz questions you created will be featured in the game?

Chatting with other players while online is made possible with the ability to add a lot of user interaction that can enhance game replayability and fun.
