I am a huge fan of the original Fable. Its one of my favorite games, I’ve done nearly everything in the game and I truly loved the game back in the day. With that being said, I cannot wait for the second one to come out.

The game starts like the first one did, your a child and you grow as the game passes. Just like the original, you can get married, but this time around, you can have a child and he will grow up as the game progresses, just like you. Although not much has been said about the new armor, weapons and spells in Fable 2, I’m sure there will be just as many, if not more, items than there was in the original Fable. One thing that has been released to us, is that you can own a dog, that will fight alongside you. I’m sure that this will be a very nice addiction to the Fable series, and will only grow stronger over the series. Another thing, by the looks of the trailer, that has been added is the use of a gun, which I think will also be a good add-on to the gameplay and I, for one, cannot wait to see what other new weapons await in Fable 2

One of the old features in the game is that each player looks different depending on the choices they make during the game. A new feature is that the world around you will also change based on the decisions you make as well. A second new feature they’ve announced is that Fable 2 will have online Co-op. The Co-op plays out somewhat different than what we are used to though. You will see these small orbs hovering around the world. Those orbs are your friends playing single player Fable 2 as well. If you walk up to the orbs you will be able to invite your them to your world to play along with you. I think that this is a great new feature that has been added, we needed an adventure game like this to have Co-op.

As for the graphics of the game, they seem to be very nice. The opening cut-scenes graphics are absolutely splendid, but of course, they are not as good as the in-game graphics. Not that the in-game graphics are bad, in fact, the graphics are very nice. The developers did a very good job with the lighting of the game especially. As good as the graphics look, I am still somewhat disappointed and expected a little more from Microsoft.

The bottom line is that I’m sure Fable 2 will be a huge hit among fans and gamers alike. The new features of the game, such as, the Co-op gameplay and how the world changes with the choices you make are sure to make gamers pleased. The fact that no two characters will look alike and that you can get married and have a child makes the game seem more like a virtual reality.
