Shown above, the microphone will plug into the Wii via USB port and sit atop your television. It was shown on top of the sensor bar in other pics, so that is one prime place to set it. The microphone will be able to pick up everyone’s voices, as opposed to simply one person with a headset, and will possibly be able to cancel out background noise, although it wasn’t directly stated.

The peripheral will be coming available at the same time as Animal Crossing: City Folks and will cost $29.99. Hopefully it will be used in future games where you can talk to people other than just those on your friends list.
