The game will be released for the Xbox 360 this September, and for the PS3 sometime later in the year. Good news is that if you have some downloaded songs from the first game, you can play them in the second.
I don’t really see the point at all in releasing a sequel, as they are still going strong with the DLC. However, they are going to be releasing “quieter, more realistic, and more reliable instruments”. Still…why make people spend so much money, and then release a sequel so soon? They’ll show their stuff off at E3, so be on the look out.
